| This idea of having an AUstralian version of The Amazing Race is a great idea. But lets face it, channel Seven would never spend THAT much money to make a tv show, even if it did mean garunteed ratings. TAM costs ALOT to produce, and it rates well as it is, so Channel seven wouldn't want to risk spending millions making a local version. (The Australian verson of Survivor didn't go to well and cost Channel Nine a fair bit to make). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| ahh, i wish TAR producers would get off their high horse and allow international versions in a reasonable deal. i think should stay in Australia. start in either Melbourne or Sydney and end near ayers rock or something with aboriginal importance just for symbolisms sake. |

| you want amazing race australia? then lets plan it wheres it start? where to then? does it stay within australia? or go abroad? what challenges will it have eg. yield vs u-turn, intersection maybe? double length leg? how many teams? i say 12 with no surprise eliminations add on |
