At least we can take some positives out of the game. Like the fact that we get to play at least one more game for the year....

Aker loves finals time he will shine.
Lets not forget Hahn and Murphy have never played finals so they are going to be like kids in the backyard look for them to star up forward.

Will be interesting to how Aker goes!
I think our midfields can really hurt the Hawks if there on there game! And watch out for Higgins showed some good form last week..

djwill I think it was at the round 14 break and following getting them fighting fit. I worry because it didn't work for the Crows and looks like it hasn't worked for the Dogs.
As I said hopefully they are just paying dead and rip Hawks apart this weekend.

We have pretty much the best side we can field to take into the finals. Heres hoping that the lack of form has been because of lack of motivation having already sewed up a top 3 finish.

Word has it that the Dogs Trained really hard around 1 month ago in Prep for Finals..
(Which would explain the Fade outs a few weeks back!)
Believe me when I say the Dogs are Ready!

I hope...

It was pretty funny seeing the Saints win knocking the Crows back to 5. Thats karma for the Porplyzia goal. I think we can beat Hawthorn and we need to because we really need some time to regroup and sort our $hit out.

One week at a time trev lets see how we get up after a slog last night? It was the hit out we needed. Brian Lake will be playing as the report was as soft as they come!! Lake on Buddy and Morris on Roughy good matchups and the experience sawys the Dogs way. Our midfield is firing and when on a roll are very hard to stop. Same for the forward line with a huge depth of goalkickers the Hawks will not win next week and the Dogs will have a week to get Tommie Williams ready for the premlim.

Lets say we do beat the Hawkers and make the prelimenary final. Who is the team that would most send a chill up your spine 1997 Crows style?

Dogs V Hawthorn ( Qualifying Final ) Reply to this message
With this game already assured its gonna be a fantastic game.. Tom Williams should be ready for Buddy also Scott West and Higgins may yet still come in..
Hawthorn and the Doggies have obviously dropped a couple of gears to ready themselves for the finals but I would really like to see the Dogs at least beat the Bombers for a bit of Form..
