You're the joke. Seriously. Do you think those sorts of comments are welcome? The bulldogs will help him to go far, so give the guy a chance.
WE LOVE YOU DOOOOOOOOGS!!! |

| how many games has dougs played for the dogs huh? and he's already been judged. you cant seriously judge him on how he'd be like as a ruckman cos he hasnt been given that opportunity. besides, he didnt play badly this year at all when he was actually on field. i think everyone needs to go back and watch the second half of the first quarter against hawthorn this year round 21. that was the best smother ive seen in my entire life and the commentators agreed. if anyone can remember that smother - theres absolutely NO WAY that anyone can say he doesnt have the commitment - only a committed player could put their whole body in like that, to save ONE GOAL that the hawks were almost certain to get. people need to give him a break, let next year go and see if he can do great things - he has the potential...just give him a chance!! |

| He'd never have the fitness for a ruckmen or strength or bulk. even as a No. 2 ruck he'd struggle at 6'4 and no great bulk . I think ballet would be more his style. Netball would be to tough and fast for him. However he did kick 6 or 7 for werribee a few weeks back. So he's not totally useless |

ah dear raj, that is precisely the point - for your benefit, drafted at #5, not performed. Got the #5 spot as a ruckman, both Eagles & Dogs played him as a forward.
Was suggesting the Dogs try him on the ball!!!!
Tooo late now !!! |

| To put it bluntly Andrew Mc Dougall is a dud, after checking his stats for a 24 yo 1st round No 5 draft pick he must be the greatest under achiever on any AFL list. He's played 43 games in 6 seasons, Daniel Kerr from the same draft has played 144 games, including finals. It's worth noting that he played 21 games for the Eagles in 2004 so that means he's actually played 22 games in his other 5 seasons in the AFL. The Bulldogs must unload him and recruit a replacement who wants to be a contributor for the Western Bulldogs. |

| I new dougs socially in perth. He wasn't commited. He drank & smoked and was parading aroung a 50+ year old perth female cafe owner on his harm in bars & clubs. Most people thought he had taken his mum out.He is just not tough enough. especially for the bulldogs. his dad was banned from eagles home games. He was nicknamed Demir around the club. After Demir Dockich. He does'nt have the passion or comitment needed to play at that level |

Fraser Gehrig, but we let him go.
The Eagles are the best in the comp at keeping required players.
Brayden Lyle and Laidley would be the biggest 2. |

Without turning this into a West Coast blog Players to leave them & play in premierships: Dean Laidley, Matty Clape, Matt Connell (2 premierships & a B&F), Jason Ball.
To get good swaps you need to give good players - Andrew McDougall still has the potential to be a good ruckman, never a good forward. |

| "Dougs" took some very good marks and kicked some important goals at West Coast early, got them over the line a couple of times when they were "emerging". He was slightly built and not a bit "nasty". Got monstered a few times and lost form, confidence. Hoped he would get "beefed" up and a trot with the 2's would help him develop. He certainly looked "bulked up" in a News Pic last week when in contention to get a run. He might yet surprise as a late developer. Certainly isn't a Danny Southern or a Darcy. Very mild tempered and fair player. |

LOL.... poor McDougall... he's a lot like Brisbane's Jared Brennan... players with explosive potential but it is unlikely they will ever achieve it...
McDougall doesn't have the strength to play in the ruck or as a backmen and lacks the instinct to play as a key forward... the Bulldogs will have to cut their losses on him in a season or two...
BTW unlike the Dockers the Eagles are very shrewd as to the players they let go.... I can't of the top of my head think of an ex-Eagle who has gone on to star at another club... |
