| I remember Susie Looong, from Cabramatta I think, well, eventually, real sweetie any day of the week, could spend a worse season I feel, shopping around the North Mole has some horrible offerings, almost as bad as at the Froe Markets or the Pig Pit where Souths play! LMAO OK, seriously, can I do that!? Try... They have shown some promise, given it is a fairly juvenile bunch in AFL terms, it is appropriate that it's a bit like Juvenile Courtship, plenty of promise but short on any real gratification! The season can still be a very useful thing. As long as the exposures are limited and injuries, fatigue are properly managed, a hardened outfit is a distinct possibility. Makes one see the likes of Selwood snr, Kerr, in a similar light to say, Scotty West at Footscray, Cox as Dempsey etc. Interesting to note West was a Grammar boy, even if it was Essendon Grammar! OK, they really aren't that bad, learning to win, not choke, as they did against the Lionesses & Swannettes is important. When the mug teeters, knock em over. Easy to say from the Grandstand or Lounge Chair huh. Fortunately, I love Footy regardless, otherwise I would have given up a long time ago from 1987 to here, keep the Faith!! LOL |

| Not much to look forward to hey Eagles fans !? Don't worry too much as your season will be over by the end of August, you can take September off, go on your OS trip and think about next season. ... and to think you very nearly beat us, tried hard and all the rest but just a very average side I'd say. |
