| Judd is a great player and one of the best players of our time, but he isn't a natural leader. It's laughable to see how so many people can think that he can do an excellent job as captain of Carlton, when there's at least 3 or 4 other players who could fill the captaincy role more adequately. His onfield skills are extraordinary, but he doesn't necessarily drive his team if needed -- this is the quality of a leader, which, incidentally, is why I think Ben Cousins was West Coast's biggest loss ... Back to the subject of Judd though, I think that some people are expecting too much of Judd. Like some of you have said, one player can't change a whole team. |

| I have to agree BCV Carlton is the laughing stock of the AFL. Firstly for thinking that Judd was gonna change their fortunes the minute he hit the ground, Secondly for naming him Captain when he had not even played a game. Judd being 60% fit unable to turn or move swiftly atm and only playing 60% of the game probably makes him their BEST player. |
