| a few years back i bought an 98 el fairmont instead of an au. strickly on the bad press and those headlights. people i know who bought one swear by them and last year i drove a friends and too be honest it was a good car to drive, you could feel the car and that is a good thing. i had vr/vts wagon at work when i was doing 75000kms a year at work in the country, and it didn't what type of road there was no feedback. don't start me on the lack of feel (until you hit the firewall) brakes. cheers |

| oi! i had a hd with a 179 hp block (blue printed, balanced, slightly swirted with triple dual stomies, 1/2 race head , extractors and quarter cam etc) and it flew althought it had a happen to love eating head gaskets. leave the kidney killer alone. heehee |

| It's the f@ckwits at ch7 that are killing it, too many ad's, only talking to a couple of holden teams, piss poor camera work by the clowns they use to cover it. | I have been watching Bathurst faithfully for almost 40 years... and that was the worst Bathurst ever. They are killing Bathurst with their computer technology and their safety measures. They have simply taken the whole human element out of it. It was the people which made Bathurst what it was. The human emotions on people faces. This year... there were no faces to be seen... since even the pit crews are wearing helmets. And no more interviews with the drivers either while they are driving. Sure... you can call it "professionalism". But it is supposed to be entertainment. It is the paying public which keeps the sport alive. Once the public lose interest... the sponsors lose interest... and the whole thing dies. I think it is time for a re-think. Otherwise V8 supercars will die like its predecessor. |
