Although he qualified 4th on the grid the team had to change a Gearbox before the start and under NASCAR rules, that meant he started at the rear 40th pos.
Then during the race, the team was pinned for a pit infringement. He had to do a drive-thru and was at the back again.
His Aussie racing paid off and he quickly passed car after car.
YES SKAIFEY,he did have a major incident when BORIS SAID cut across him and he spun SAID.In memories of INGALL Vs SKAIFE,Boris was standing at trackside and threatened to throw his helmet at Marcos when Ambrose went around next lap.
In the final 8 laps he was gaining on Busch and was unlucky not to have won.
Australia had SOOOOO much airtime and the lad done us all proud. |

Marcos started at the rear of the field and was sent back again during the race for a pit infringment.
He still has the speed to go through the field and came 2nd.
He was the fastest out there and was running down K Busch in the last few laps but couldnt make the gap.
Great drive Marcos .40th up to 2nd |

| Juan's not racing this one...nor are the other two past winners (Truex and Hamlin). I think the favourites would be Said, Carpentier, Busch, Ambrose and Fernandez. |

The Mexico course is similar to the Villeneurve course in Canada.
Ambrose should get a top 5 this week.
Expecting Montoya and the other Ex-F1 drivers to race this weekend against the Aussie |

Cant wait for next week in Atlanta.
The Nascars fastest track and keep your eye out for the South Sydney Jumpers in the crowd.
