| 3 blown right rear tyres and the resulting damage to the right rear quarter being completly ripped away,saw MA finsh in 39th. A forgettable start to the season with the team pulling the pin and getting ready for next saturday in California. |

| Ambrose has had his final qualifying run. He will start in 33rd position and is happy with his set-up.He could have wound the car up and pulled another 3/10s out of it but the cars are impounded immediately afterwards and cant be adjusted before the start of the race. He feels the crew have the car ready for the 120 laps,even to the point of running the Qualifying lap with a Full tank to make sure there will be no difference to the handling at the starting grid |

| In a recent interview Montoya was asked to compare the two cars. He said the Nascar has similar acceleration and G forces as F1,just when it came to handling the Nascar felt like a F1 car towing a caravan. |

| Even if you had the money(not) you just dont walk up. Every race only has a 42 car max fields.Normally you would get 50 or more cars at qualifying so if you are not in top 42 you can go home. This is the 1st race of the series and guess who didnt Qualify in the Cup?? Jacques Villeneuve the F1 driver. He is now rethinking his move to Nascar with Montoya and Franchilli after causing a massive 4 car accident in Qualifying. This is the best series in the world matt where even Ambrose won 968,000 in cheques last season. |

| Because Tthe Nascar driver pool is international with a strong US flavour. Ambrose tried to get over there foe 3 years before going. With all the SBR crew now with Marcos it is the best chance an Aussie has,even that might prove fruitless |

| 2 weeks to go till Daytona and MA has had his 2nd test at the track. In the 2 sessions he tested 2 #59 cars and was 14th and 10th.With his "A" car running the faster on the 1.5 mile track. |
