| I sometimes get the time to watch some of the matches on tv.I have never stated that I have been to a tournament.I have a more than casual interest in watching tennis and a couple of my favourite players.The comment about appearance money was tongue in cheek because I don't think that Novak would tank.Of course I was alluding ever so slightly to a time when players were suspected of taking the money and doing a runner.Obviously at Djokovic's level of skill,one would suspect it was the lull after the high which I do know about from personal experience.Sadly I think most of you geeks don't have a sense of humour. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Twice that this has happened to Novak this year from matches I have seen or read about. The first was notably in the AO Semi Final against Federer. I believe Novak was down a break point when the umpire called a time violation on him. Unfortunately it fired him up further for a couple of games. I hope that the umpires continue to pull him up on this behaviour. It is unfair to an opponent and I wonder of Novak would be so understanding if an opponent did the same back. |
