R Federer, April 3, interview transcript [excerpts]:
"...All in all I think it was still a good performance, and I think Andy served really exceptionally well yet again tonight."
"...Maybe I just should have placed, put the ball into play instead of trying to come over it.
It's just decision here and there, and sometimes the opponent plays well and puts you under pressure. That's why I always said it's tough to play against Andy, you know that serve. He's always going to have a chance. That's why I'm quite amazed about my record against him..."
N Djokovic, March 28, interview transcript [excerpts]:
"...Obviously, the time violation and a lot of different things affected on my service game loss."
"Well, the shoe, for example. In the last point my shoe lace was broken."
"Well, I tried to recover, but obviously I was a little bit tired from the start. But it was okay, you know. I could play, but the thing is that I didn't know the way he's playing."
"But, that ÂÂ I don't find excuses" |

Someone has been doing a bit of research - certainly a bit of food for thought... Its not that I dislike Novak but you can't get past the class of those real gentlemen players, Federer and Nadal plus a few others
Take out the spaces if any.

Have we not already acknowledged that you're a complete joke?
Your potshots are hilariously pathetic. Comedy gold, mate. |

| I sometimes get the time to watch some of the matches on tv.I have never stated that I have been to a tournament.I have a more than casual interest in watching tennis and a couple of my favourite players. The comment about appearance money was tongue in cheek because I don't think that Novak would tank.Of course I was alluding ever so slightly to a time when players were suspected of taking the money and doing a runner.Obviously at Djokovic's level of skill, one would suspect it was the lull after the high which I do know about from personal experience.Sadly I think most of you geeks don't have a sense of humour. |

""Djokovic, leading 2-0 but facing break point, was dribbling before a serve when umpire Norm Chryst warned him for taking too much time."
Twice that this has happened to Novak this year from matches I have seen or read about. The first was notably in the AO Semi Final against Federer. I believe Novak was down a break point when the umpire called a time violation on him. Unfortunately it fired him up further for a couple of games.
I hope that the umpires continue to pull him up on this behaviour. It is unfair to an opponent and I wonder of Novak would be so understanding if an opponent did the same back. |

"Ever heard of appearance money and needing a little holiday."
ZB - thanks for continuing to prove your ignorance of the highest calibre. You must be very proud of yourself. Not only do you not read articles before posting, you are hypocritical when it comes to the players you back. So earlier today you are suggesting appearance money being a factor for Novak...what....tanking? Are you going to make a tanking claim now? Come on, why not start a nice UPPERCASE WORDED THREAD TO THAT EFFECT, SO IT WILL BE ANOTHER ONE THAT IS IGNORED LIKE YOUR MOST RECENT ATTEMPTS.
For someone who claims to go to a number of tournaments, this doesn't necessarily make you intelligent to the game or the players. It is a shame that you troll these boards perhaps to stroke your (fragile) ego based on the number of replies in your threads. Do you count those posts within that ignore your comments as well? Have noted that when the results don't go your way, or when someone posts anything remotely intelligent about tennis, your activity is minimal to nil.
Remember the below post you wrote? Or are you going to hide from acknowledging this question (in your typical style) or say it was someone else that hacked your account. Please, offer up one of your sooky la-la, lame attempts as a retort. How about something really biting like -- GO ANDY!

Re:DOES FEDERER HAVE THE BALLS?
I am talking of the players like djokovic who think of glory for their homeland before counting the hundred dollar bills from prizemoney.
=============
So is Novak about the pride or the money? Clearly it cannot be both. It has to be one or the other per your statements, or did you think other folks would've forgotten this massive contradiction? Which is it? OWN YOUR WORDS. Please enlighten us. Could you also ask your tennis coach as well for his informed opinion? |

Quote from one of the papers today:
"Djokovic, leading 2-0 but facing break point, was dribbling before a serve when umpire Norm Chryst warned him for taking too much time. Djokovic whacked a forehand winner to end that point, then screamed in the umpire's direction and shook both fists. The crowd hooted at the Serbian."
At last someone has the guts to complain about his excessive bounces. He's got away with it for too long.
