Elena Dementieva soundly defeated Ms Scowly-face-cats-bottom Serena Williams with a score of 7-6 6-1.

Once again Serena offered her opponent no praise on her winning performance.

Comments by Serena included:
'I really probably should have won the first set, which probably would have (led to) a different result'

'Honestly, I think I could have and should have won, but I didnt, so...it is what it is'

Serena needs to hire a new PR manager - she's certainly not winning any new fans

Is Serena a sore loser ???? Reply to this message
Is Serena a sore loser ???? I find her sister Venus much more gracious and humble.

After being beaten by Sam Stosur Serena said "She had a lot of lucky shots. She's a good framer. But it's obviously all talent. She has mastered that."

Years ago Serena was beaten by Justine Henin and said something like "She had a few lucky shots !"

Anyone know of Serena praising her opponent (apart from her sister Venus) after being beaten ???
