nicolina
it was an interesting Open for females...
The amount of seeds that fell by the wayside (if youll pardon the pun) was staggering one day in particular..
Lots of newcomers playing really consistent tennis...
next year should be quite interesting......
Shame you didnt comment on my topic re womens tennis during the Open... I was talking to myself (and we already have a goof doing that) !!! |

Hello - I must say congratulations to Kim, her win made me smile!
She has shown what a great player she still is.
I hope that she stays on the tour for atleast another 2 years.
Womens tennis needs someone with more that just the boring power of the Williams to keep the interest.
It would be great for womens tennis if Kim wins more GS next year not just the USO.
Womens tennis needs her right now, what a great story the womens USO was this year. |

From her interview after the match... it would indicate that she is ready to go back home and be Mum again...
Does that mean she isnt really on the curcuit?
She came back to prove something?
She is not going to play everything but will compete on the big time circuit?
I see she is now No 19!!!
Will She Be Back?
Intelligent replies only please!!!!! |
