| Obviously nobody else did see her on the Mad TV skit then, but still I'm sure you've all seen her posed nude on the cover of that upcoming issue of a magazine. Sexy in an even scarier sort of way. |

funny strine...I read that as "she is a rubbish player, and just happened to play good against me, I am so unlucky!"
Maybe I'm just so used to hearing unsportsmanlike garbage from Serena, it's impossible to hear her any other way |

"I ran into a girl today who has never played so good" Serena said today after being beaten by Russian Petrova 6-4 3-6 7-6.
Has Serena turned the corner ?
This is the closest thing to a compliment directed toward her opponent we've heard from Serena for a while. |

| Serena's attitude will follow her for the rest of her tennis career. She is the most ungracious female tennis player of her time and will never change. As someone said she is a spoilt brat. |

| Afraid these are my sentiments as well... always have been. It's a pity Serena hasn't learnt some humility over the years and not to mention.... lost some weight off her posterior to boot! Now THAT would be something really newsworthy <bhg>!!! |

| Did anyone else see her making a guest appearance in a sketch on Mad TV the other night ? She turned into a super hero complete with black lycra shorts, bra top, a black cape and boots. It was good for a laugh and she did look kind of hot in a scary way. |

Serena has been a spoilt brat since she was a baby
look at her sister
she is the one i always support
and as for not menacing the linesperson.
damnnn where was her brain
I hope she gets suspended from tennis and fined a fortune.
but one has to laugh at her attempt to try and put the blame back on the linesperson
I didnt threaten her....what do you call shoving a tennis ball down your neck... a promise |

| Serena Williams would have to be the most ingracious loser in world sport, she has never ever praised an opponent for playing well it is always her bad play rather than any good play from someone else, whyalance of humility. we praise these sort of people is beyond me, she should be given no media coverage at all and all sponsors of her should be boycotted until she shows some resemb |

"If I could, I would take this ... ball and shove it down your ... throat and kill you," she allegedly said.
How could anyone even consider Serena for any type of role model ???
Hope she loses some of her sponsors from this episode
Excerpt from interview:
Q. Do you think the lineswoman deserves an apology?
SERENA WILLIAMS: An apology for?
Q. From you.
SERENA WILLIAMS: From me?
Here's the link to Serena's official post match interview:

Her constant denial, coupled with repeatedrefusal to acknowledge any responsibility, are the traits of a severely disturbed individual. I believe she has mental problems and should seek professional help.
As Dr Phil says "You cannot change what you do not acknowledge" |

You know what? I can forgive the on-court brain snap. Tight match, big point, that was a hell of a call from the line judge. Serena just snapped. It happens.
What I don't like is she had time to cool down, think about what she had done before the press conference....but there's no contrition. She's obviously enbarassed as she won't repeat exactly what she said, but there's no apology.
No doubt we'll get a press release dripping with insincerity later, can't wait. |

Total lack of "serenity". She cannot see that she has done anything wrong. It appears she has acute short term memory loss. Perhaps these factors explain why there has been no apology for her behaviour.
The interview was a classic example of the spoilt little girl syndrome. I think she does not care a dam about the whole experience. |

| The answer to this thread is obvious especially given the match today. She didn't even apologize for her crude behaviour. She showed her true side today. Her entire family are all the same. They should suspend her from playing for a period like they do in other sports. |

It's one thing in the minor WTA tournaments but it's a different story when the sisters are competing in the Slams. Serena and Venus Williams are more focused on the Slams and still have the mental edge over most of the Women today.
Tennis is not only about the slams. If it was , there'd only be 4 tournaments a year. |

| Yes she is a sore loser, and a most ungracious winner as well. She's trash and I hope she loses every time. Same with her sister for that matter. |
