| hello... I would like to congratulate Juan-Martin Del Potro on his great win at the U.S. Open defeating Federer and Nadal back to back. While i am a devoted Federer and Nadal (particularly hoped for a Rafa win as he has never won the USO) fan, i must say how truly pleased I am to see a new face winning a GS. I think that overall that is a positive. Both players had chances to win in the match in 4 sets. First Roger had chances to win the second set when serving at 5-4 but he let Del Potro back in who won the second in a tiebreak. Juan-Martin led in the 3rd set and was serving from 4-3 and from that point Roger won 3 games in a row . I did not see this match live but watched Fox sports 3 hour 30 minutes replay yesterday and it was badly edited missing a few games. |
