I am watching the TV coverage and just heard J.A. refer to a tournament as Wimbledon - in Australia, we refer to this particular event as 'Wimbleton', with an emphasis on the 'T', just like other words like ambliance (ambulance) and aks (ask). I would contact channel 7 to point out this mistake, and have it rectified before the next mispronunciation, but I cannot, as I am an idi*t .
