you can really pick them z.
Murray is not in the league of Roger & Rafa. I would back Djokovic against him too (well provided the sun is not too hot, the clouds are not grey, the tea is not too sweet and niggle that he has is just a mozzy bite after all)
It seems as though you go from media buzz to media buzz in making your picks.
Querry - fair enough an American had a reasonable run at the US but where is he now?
Your desire to see Del Potro massacre RF? Fed absolutely demolished him without even trying. He really did make that look like an educational video.
Murray? He is famous for being the only other guy to beat Federer twice since 2002. And Rafa at the US Open. Fed disposed of him easily at the US Open in the end.
Murray is like a Djokovic. Best of the rest. I don't see him being number #1 |

| Nadal will stay ahead of Federer but I don't think he will be number one at years end. |

| Players don't have to WIN the 3 matches at Kooyong (although Agassi just happened to win the double three times) it's the fact that they get three matches on a similar surface, with unpredictable weather (heat, wind, etc) rather than the possibility of losing 1st round in a regular tournament in a different state. |

You cannot go by that anymore grsydney.
playing at kooyong these days in order to acclimitise or be match toughened for the A.O. can actually backfire on a player's preparation.
Roddick is a classic example of it. He wins Kooyong then fails at the A.O. |

| The whole point of these exhibition matches are to get match play. Like the Abu Dabhi event. Sure there was not the competition in Kooyoong but it is a case of want to play yourself into an event which is excatly what Federer was doing. LTF was there and saw him lucky person, but I did watch it all on TV and he is certainly getting himeself prepared for this week |

| TLF my Dearest Lady, aren't you overlooking the fact that the kooyong mickey mouse exhibition was missing Fed's main rivals such as Muzza, Djokovic, Roddick, and especially Nadal. |

Fedex on the other hand is fast approaching Slam burnout and the way for him to go is backwards
Your usual one eyed view of things as usual |

| It is hard to say with Nadal. He is obviously a great player.I don't believe he will get any better. He has already extracted every ounce of talent from his body and I just can't see any areas where there is room for improvement the way he plays.Fedex on the other hand is fast approaching Slam burnout and the way for him to go is backwards. |

It depends if Rafa has reached his peak as a player.
Rafael Nadal is 23 years old and he may yet still improve his game (Such as more faster serve) winning on all surfaces, including hardcourts.
Muzza maybe. FED No way. He's actually close to slipping to No 3. |

Me thinks Nadal will be No 2 by the end of 2009
No 1 will be between Murray and Federer and a whole new set of players will fill the rest of the top 10 positions.. |

| I agree but I think he is bit underdone coming into the Oz Open.I wouldn't be surprised if he gets knocked out by the 3rd round. |

| Nadal did really well last year, but he never seems to do so well at the Australian Open. The men's comp is too fierce this year, I think the rankings will be changing constantly. |

| His injury late last year has taken the wind out of his sails a little bit but might be an indicator that his style of game ,beating his opponent to death with his racket,is taking a toll on his body.I don't think he will be number one at years end. |
