| Good Morning Children!!! Well I have been wondering about the origins of ONE SLAM WONDER. AS far as I can recall it was derived from ONE HIT WONDER(S) such as singers and bands from the 70's and 80's era of Pop Music. OSW was first labelled on Stich (maybe Chang also) who after coming from nowhere to win Wimbledon, could not win in another Slam. Would that be correct? Not sure if that expression is used in any other sport however. |
