AS far as tennis is concerned, We have the best coevrage of any country here. Besides for your information just sao you think I am not infomred I have been to 8 grandslams in the last four years, 9 masters events plus too many others to mention so I feel that I am very informed . You my friend are just an ignorant and self assuming twit as has been shown in many of your posts. I aghven't even done the maths yets but It will be nigh on impossible for Andy to get to #3. He would need I believe at least 2 slams to even get close to get there. So just check out yoru so call well infomred sources and see if I am not right.
Well I have been wondering about the origins of ONE SLAM WONDER. AS far as I can recall it was derived from ONE HIT WONDER(S) such as singers and bands from the 70's and 80's era of Pop Music.
OSW was first labelled on Stich (maybe Chang also) who after coming from nowhere to win Wimbledon, could not win in another Slam. Would that be correct?
Not sure if that expression is used in any other sport however.
