Might have been straight sets Zed but you have to admit it was a good game of tennis with both players having their chances.
I thought Lleyton was a little hard done by in the first tiebreaker but S*hit happens. Andy seems to have really improved his net game, he was / hiting some lovely volleys.
I think both men could cause some trouble at Wimbledon. They are hitting the ball well and moving nicely on the grass.
And the intrigue begins,Monfils and Safin are out of Queens.I was hoping to see Roddick kick the c-r-a-p out of that jerk Monfils.I am giving Andy a great chance and hopefully he will destroy Hewitt along the way.
He did better than any of you cretins thought he would. If he had played that leaping yo-yo Monfils during the day he would have hammered him.Andy will do very well at Queens.
so that's what Andy's complaint was. That the ligtht was poor.
I suppose it's a fair argument and one has to wonder why French tennis federation does not install stadium spotlights just as the Australian and U.S. Opens do.
it was the same for both of them right?
Funny (as I stated in an earlier post)
Roddick was 40 30 up the game following the outburst
I bet had he won the next two games he would have wanted
to stay on playing right?
said claude- "I hate andy roddick with a passion. I am glad he lost to Monfils, a classy player. Andy is nothing but an overgrown baby who seriously needs to check his temper (and at his age!! how embarrassing) and grow up."
I didn't see the match. You say he needs to "check his temper" So What has he said or done this time?
