| Sushi - apology accepted and I agree that the next player to dominate probably hasn't even come onto the tour yet. Bernie - I know Federer doesn't have as many points to defend compared with Nadal but there are more players out there now who can defeat him. To get the points to reclaim #1 he needs to win the tournaments and I really do think he will struggle to do that on a regular basis anymore. There are too many good young players out there challenging. It can't be taken for granted anymore that he will win a tournament just because he's playing it. Which is pretty much what's been happening over the past few years (apart from the French that is). And lets face it, he's not getting any younger and his body will start to show the wear and tear of his years on the circuit. Personally I think the grand slams are anyones next year and it wouldn't surprise me if they were won by 4 different palyers. |

| Federer has had his reign though. He won't be able to dominate it like he did over the last 4 or so years. It will be interesting to see who the next one is. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
