****He is great player.I am sick of him.****
That was your quote, Zed. Therefore, grsydney, didn't partially quote you - he quoted your whole sentence - "He is a great player." |

zed
just a useless question here...
If you dislike Federer so much, as us threadlovers would concur...
Why did you set up this thread? |

Finally.......Zed admits that Federer IS a great player...it's just that he's sick of him.
Well, that's a whole lot different to criticising his actual playing ability. A lot of people will admit that he's a good/great player, but they too want to see someone else win.
But is that Federer's fault? If you had the talent and ability to be #1, would you dumb down your game just because some people want to see others get the top ranking? Of course not? You'd make them earn their ranking by defeating you enough times, and that's what will happen to Federer - eventually. But it may be a few years yet! |

| We like to play each other,it doesn't matter who wins.Fedex wasn't too happy when Safin beat him in the semis back in '05. |

| No, because their success was staggered and not concentrated in a much smaller time frame like Fedex's.He has dominated in a 4 to 5 year period because of lack of competition. Agassi and Sampras played against much tougher opponents than Fedex throughout their careers. The honeymoon period is over because the new players challenging right now are much tougher than what Fedex is used to. |

| Yes, they started younger than Federer, which kinda indicates that they should've 'burnt out' earlier than they did doesn't it? |

| Though Sushi - Federer never used his illness as an excuse. The media did, but Roger was always talking up his fitness and saying it won't be an issue. Clearly it was and it most likely cost him 2 further grand slam titles last year - Aussie Open and Wimbledon. |
