Yeah ,old Newcombe put in a few big 5 setters there didn't he.I watched the final ,I was a Newk fan back then but certainly admired Connors.It was a terrific match.I think Safin's win a few years ago is the most exciting after beating Federer in that unbelievable semi.A lot of players could suffer a letdown after such a great victory particularly coming up against a hometown favourite in Hewitt.

Roddick has a chance ,just look at some of the upsets that have occurred.As long as he acquits himself well I will be happy.If he beats Fedex then that will be a bonus.

I am not Andy fan by any means but right now i hope Andy will win the semifinal.
