| ....in recent years it's interesting that a surprise package has reached the final in the Aus Open men's event. I can't go past raffa winning at the moment but I've never seen Murray play and haven't seen enough of Djokovic this tournament to place my call just yet... |

| yeh i agree.. hes an amazing player but some of his errors are just bad!.. like hes got the ability to play well but some of the unforced errors he does could cost him matches in the future. i guess his opponents get intimidated by him | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I'd love Federer to bounce back from a 'bad' year by winning the Aus open and then continuing on to dominate the year. (A bad year for Federer in 2008 would be a GREAT year for anyone else. US Open title, runner up in Wimbledon and France and semi final at Aus Open - all with glandular fever!!!!) I still rate him a genuine chance to claim the grand slam. |

| Why should that be a problem - with the Aus Open on at the moment a lot more people are showing interest in tennis and a lot are voicing complaints about the free-to-air coverage. | dementieva is certainly playing very well, and i think she has a good chance. Although, I haven't seen Jankovic playing yet.
