The AFL doesn't mind if you watch the game on TV as this boost the ratings therefore making the next tender worth bigger bucks. Those ticket prices ARE excessive and unjust.
They, the AFL don't care about clubs much as they have proven in the past. The 'Dumb One' has an agenda. It's all about the corporate dollar, the TV ratings and he and his mates (with wives & girlfriends in tow) wining and dining at the highest level.
Me & a few friends were quite prepared to travel 3 hours & watch our beloved Swans play The Eagles last night only to be disappointed when told that entry into the game was priced at $75, $55, $40 etc. To be totally honest these prices are not only excessive but a total absurdity considering its just an ordinary season game of A.F.L. Maybe if it was a Grand Final or something, Yes I would be quite prepared to pay & watch the game then. Do they now wonder why people choose to watch these games on the T.V. rather than go to the match. What is everyone else's opinion on the above matter?
