| I wish we would play more afternoon games... luckily for me out of the 7 or 8 I will get to this year at least 3 are during the day- Essendon @ a n z stadium and the two at Manuka oval here in Canberra. We play far better during the day too- but thats modern day footy for you you play where the tv wants you to when they want you to. |

I console with you and your daughter. I have no answer to your question - "What is it with all the night games?" . . . BUT, I suppose the AFL doesn't take into account the very young fans of our game.
Best I can wish for you is that we have a few home finals so miss2 can watch the Mighty Swans in finals action at her favourite ground, the SCG.

| What is it with all the night games? I have just noticed that the last 7 home games are at night. Personally, I think this is bad for the club and the family crowd. 11 of our 22 games are at night, are we alone in this or is it the way the AFL are going? My daughter (2) loves going to the SCG, but I won't take her at night. So babysitters ($) or stay at home (boring). |
