Malceski should be back after rd8 so Swans will be fine a full pre season for the whole team this year will work wonders.The irishman and Marty shuold do fine until Nicky comes back.

With the long term injury of Nick Malceski it is important now more than ever for Sydney's recruit to play a big part in the Swans backline.

It was intended for Sydney to field 3 "experienced" players on the half backline who would run and carry the ball. Kennelly, Malceski and Mattner would have been a pretty formidable trio but alas it is now only a duo with Roosy having to go for a less a like to be the 3rd string in the bow.

Marty will have a big responsibility, he's up to it, playing well and intends to deliver.
