Retirement 2009. Reply to this message
This weekend ends the AFL careers of 3 of the Swans favourite sons.

Michael 'Magic' O'Loghlin -

The Swans game record holder who will have amassed 303 games (club record) & booted 517 goals (thus far)in 15 seasons at the club ....

Congrats Michael and enjoy your retirement.

'Leapin' Leo Barry -

His 237th game will be his final one in the Red'n'White. 15 seasons at the club he debut in the same season as Magic. Remembered best for THAT mark in the dying seconds of the 2005 GF he is a champ of smallish proportions who played on the biggest and best forwards the game has.

Well done Leo and hope life after footy is kind to you ... thanks 'Leapin' Leo.

Jared Crouch -

Jared is one tough, tenacious little fella who NEVER shirked his responsibility of doing the tagging week in and week out. This week he plays his 223rd and final game for the Sydney Swans, a career that spanned 12 seasons. I reckon there are more players than Aker who will bad to see the back of him.

Good on ya Jared, a champ who flew under the radar, an important part of our lineup and an instrumental ingredient in our best season - 2005.

All three players are gonna be sorely missed on the field and around the club ... sincerely hope that life after footy is prosperous, kind to you and long.

Cheer cheer the red and the white . . .
