| Channel 7's coverage of St Kilda vs Geelong was appalling. Whole passages of play were missed. Extreme close-ups prevented the viewer from knowing what was happening. For example, the camera would zoom in so close to the ball when someone kicked for goal that I couldn't tell if it was going through the goals or not. Lingering on the coaches or on a player not in the play (or even a spectator) while the play continued - particularly at boundary throw-ins - was extremely frustrating. |
