| FAVOURITES for Sth Africa - no way. But they will be one of the more fancied half a dozen sides. Then again, NZ is always fancied before every Rugby World Cup too, and people always think Sth Africa will play well in the Cricket World Cup also. | Well done England, all that is left is to shake those big tournament yips! By rights, England should feature in the final 4 of the World Cup - depending on fixturing. Australia, I am confident, can sneak a spot in the round of 16 or even the quarter finals. This sets up the very real possibility of a meeting between the two. I would rather they be grouped together and kick off their campaigns against each other - then both qualify into the second round. Brazil showed some ominous form on the weekend too - they will be, yet again, a very tough side to beat! |
