| fella -yep a lot of talk and the glory are starting to believe in themselves plus the new team is gelling so could go quite well for them ... can't get any worse then their history in the A League ... hopefully they get back to their NSL days and dominate the comp. :P | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| At least there's a genuine contest for those top 4 spots. It is a good sign for the comp that the spoils are up for grabs by at least half the sides - better than the farce of Celtic/Rangers in Scotland or the 'big 4' in the EPL. This is a big reason why I think the current format of the league is the way to go - everyone ALWAYS remains on a level footing, same comp, same cap, same chance of getting/keeping players and sponsors and fans. This Pro/Reg stuff can get shoved right up someones fat arz! |

| ur prob right. anyway, great start to the season you just cant pick the winners other than GC united of course! Adelaide and Melb are looking good in patches but are inconsistent, so too mariners and roar. Wellington have impressed me surprisingly, and even Nth Qld Fury have shown thery can play! It could be a return to the GLory days in Perth, they have been fantastic to watch and are starting to win too. | If I had those players at the Gold Coast cambiasso you'd be calling me a good coach too! You compare the squad he had at Brisbane to the one at Adelaide that Kosmina had and then compare. | if you ask me i think that Miron Bleiberg is a very good coach. if roar had a striker in season 1 they could have won the inaugural A league title, they played fantastic football. | Read my initial post for the reason - I had planned on supporting them when they came in as I didn't have a side. But Palmer is a right royal fk knuckle and an arrogant fool - now all I want it to see them fall flat on their big heads! They are a very good team - but I have never supported a team due to their ability. |

| i think i changed my mind after watching phoenix v perth glory today. | I've seen both of the Fury games, and there problem has been that they play really well at times, and really badly at others. They need a more consistent 90 minutes, those lapses are very costly. 8 goals against them in 2 games - GC Utd have conceeded 1! In a couple of years we will have another Melb and another Sydney team. Then it is basically Canberra and Tassie to round off what I think will be a good sized comp. This will all be done by 2016 or so, and by then we may be really producing some very good footy. |

| When I heard the GC were getting an A-league side I had thought I might support them - until Tas Utd get in that is. But the arrogance that has oozed from these tools from the moment they were given the green light is astounding! They are my LEAST favourite side and I think they are doing their brand more harm than good with their approach. The latest is Palmer talking up his side as being great for other teams to improve their gate takings - because apparently everyone wants to watch them! The Collingwood of the A-league, no doubt!
