| Saw the "penalty" on the news sprare and cannot disagree with you. No doubt Adelaide walked off the park a lucky side. Perth still had their chances in the first half to wrap it up though. |

| Adelaides first goal was soft. Bluddy D#wnie is terrible at marking on the left, he cost us a goal like that last week. The second goal wasn't even a penalty. The foul was outside the box. Glory were ripped off a good point after an excellent showing last week. |

| Only caught a bit on the radio kingerik and sounded like Perth had the better of Adelaide in the first half and missed a few chances. 6 changes from the Bunyodkor game and players still jet lagged gave Perth their best chance to knock Adelaide off so I see David Mitchell looking for a job at seasons end if not before. |

micksalvo,
my point was merely that Hakoah represents "old soccer/NSL."
Whereas, thankfully, Sydney FC and the A-League stand for "new football." |

i would care siradriancrowsrock57
do you forget newspapers aus wide fabricating stories about crowd violence
or the media ignoring us at every opportunity
or AFL coaches laughing at us when we crashed out of the Asia Cup now that we can get back to the 'real football'
Id go for any team - even for the Victory because this is what Australian Football needs |

| Oh, Vidmar for Asian coach of the year and Adelaide club of the year. No other club outside Australia has to live with the same salary cap constraints and the Japanese, Chinese and Uzbek clubs we faced each had at least one bloke who earned more than the Adelaide squad put together. |

What a great game.I watched it free over the net and whilst my pc needs upgrading and the wireless connection speed could be better I was happy I got to see the game. The goal was a nothing one anyway and had more to do with what Adelaide didn't do rather than what Bunyodkor did do.
I'll bet the Bunyodkor owner would be spewing forking out 9 mill for Rivaldo. He was useless and ought to give the money back and go home to Brazil to retire.
As for why their is no seperate Adelaide thread. This is the most Adelaide supporters I've seen in the beautiful game forum and I've been here awhile talking to a few melbourne supporters, 1 or 2 Roar, a couple of Sydney and a Glory supporter. Theres about 10 regulars here max, cant go making too many thread other wise you'll just talk to yourself. |

well done to adelaide united, great to see that a free flowing and attacking team been rewarded.
i cannot understang how the FAA has gone on the band wagon and started to praise.if they were serious that would have rescheduled adelaide game this weekend and do what ever was required to assist the club in reaching their goals.
i wonder if SYDNEY HAKOAH F.C was in their shoes , i am sure FRANK LOWIE would have bent over backwards .shame on FAA ,ps. KOSMINA would be so envious lol lol lol lol |

How good was that! I mean honestly...
Adelaide have created *** hing history..a magnificent effort.
When you start comparing the amount of money the two clubs have...then you start to slowly look up at the size of the mountain that Adelaide had to climb last night...
I'm still laughing at the comments before the game that former world player of the year 'rivaldo' made that he wasn't impressed with adelaide..well adelaide have made it through to the final of the AFC champions league..he was awfully quiet throughout the game I thought..mmm.
I agree kinger..you wouldn't have known the matildas had won the tournament with the lack of coverage...I'm not a conspiracy theorist but this is *** ten me to no end... |

c'mon, they just entered the final of the Asian Champions League which is an outstanding achievement!!
personally I thought they were still playing the group stage games....but having progressed through that and then the knockout stages is fantastic!
there was hardly any coverage of their defeat of marquee rivals Kashima Antlers and its a shame that Australian football is only available to the privileged few...
funny that I've seen more games of Chelsea and the German national team for free than I have of Sydney FC.... |
