don't thin kteh adelaide game will affect the socceroo's as I don't think they have any players in the team.
I just hope that accelerator in Geneva doesn't affect the game ;) |

Total 24pts.
You need to have somewhere 13~15pts to come out on top two.
Tanaka finally appears on WC qualifier to bring horror to the opponents.
Bahrain is out of the race.
Judges in every game will be quite stringent and harsh on them after laser pointer thing.
China is out, now Bahrain too.

Terrific result for the socceroos!!
It would have been interesting if there was something at stake though...not taking anything away from the boys..
A great result considering the players that didn't play for the socceroos..
There was improvement in the possession of the ball for the roos but still could be better..in saying that I thought the side looked really balanced!?@!
The game to win is the midweek one against Uzbekistan..
Japan let us get back into the game in the previous world cup..so perhaps it's something they need to look at...
Qatar are the team in our group that could shake things up.. |

Did you watch the game??
They had there chances got robbed of at least of a legit penalty early on. They seemed to have periods of and disinterest....Other wise they were OK. n defense they seem to spread in stead of condense.
quatar was not as good as the sound of the result. |

Well Crab - that is one very good workout by the Socceroos today.
How far away is Cahill fitness wise? Culina, Kennedy and Holman doing good enough jobs anyway, but this team could be mighty with Cahill and Kewell at their best.
However, as Pim rightly says - Wednesday is different - circumstances, location, conditions aaaaannnd a world cup game. I agree, very different.
Still - nice to see the boys do well without injury or red cards.
Should be very interesting.
Cheers |

BAH 2-3 JPN.
Until 85 min, it seems like easy game.
Who can expect JPN lose two goals in last 5 min.?
Australian football fan might?
Anyway 3pts is better than anything.
Rack up the points as many as we can before AUS come to JPN! |

Qualifier starts in 30 minutes.
Bahrain vs JPN.
Unlike Uzbek and Australia, JPN is not good at dealing with middle east countries.
Coach Okada's ability is now questioned widely.
All recent matchs shows that squad is in worst condition.
Osim has recovered, why don't they replace Okada with Osim....
I miss beautifull football Osim brought on the field....
AUS will come out on top in this group anyway, though I think Pim is below average coach. |

well folks..the boys are about to take on the netherlands..
FOXTEL 2 @ 4.45am tommorrow morning (sunday)..
If the last game they played is anything to go by..it should be a bloody good game..
I reckon the dutch are the great underachievers..at times they play some of the best bloody team football you'll ever likely to see..though yet to be world champions!!
It's a great warm up game prior to the qualifier later in the week..
Vinnie Grella will be missing from the two games..a player that we have come to rely on so much..a bloody terrific player..and one of our most important..but to be honest i am happy that his injury is now and not later in the qualifiers..
I reckon the socceroos could win both..but if I was a betting man..the game to win is the qualifier..and i reckon they'll win this!!
go the socceroos.. |

| I remember aussie guus saying that arnold was one of the best 'man managers' he had seen...a 'man manager' for me..is different to being a coach or manager of a football team..someone that i really like the idea of coaching is paul okon..now this fella could play..the hope is that all his experience and qualities as a player would transform into coaching...i would really love it if he coached the socceroos one day!! |

| Arnold has never been known for his tactical ability. Some of his comments about the likley problems the opposition would face against the Olyroos before the Games lacked credibility. His failure to select Djite and Burns meant we had no strikers. Archie was played as an extra midfielder rather than a striker. The result was a team that could defend but not attack. |
