Just for curiousity, the first 'intranational' final was Real Madrid v Valencia in 2000, followed by AC Milan v Juventus in 2003.

For me, this recent trend of "English" clubs dominating the UCL is taking something away from it. As a non-partisan supporter, I can't help but feel like it's not much more than an EPL game. But unfortunately, I suspect there will be plenty more Liverpool-Chelsea UCL games in the seasons to come.

So who's going to win?It will be great to see the class of Lampard and Rooney, along with the hardness of Terry and Scholes, the diving talents of Drogba and Ronaldo,Ballack and Ferdinand going toe to toe.On paper it should be a cracker of a game with millions of pounds of talent on display. My tip Manchester United to win 3-1,goals from Rooney,Ronaldo to get a double and Chelseas goal from Lampard.
