a bad day at the office.
lescott being a tool did not help things.
plus if any team was was going to do us 6-1
i would pick ars enal. no splash of the cash.
and they play slick attractive football.
all down to wenger.

svenmarcheson: "you seem to have very little idea of what has been going on in English Football after 1972."

My comments are mostly about the last 20 years - much more relevant don't you think?

So please tell me then, what has been going on in 'English' Football in the last 20 years?

You live in the past, Mondays "expert". Time to open your eyes to what is really going on. We obviously need to table a motion to have your "expert" status withdrawn as you seem to have very little idea of what has been going on in English Football after 1972.

The other top four teams don't play "English" football either.

So what's your point again?

"Chelsea don't play "English" football "

Maybe that's why they are considered the most boring team to watch out of the top four...?

svenmarcheson: "I assume that you do like english football enough to get up at 2am your time to watch it"

Chelsea don't play "English" football - so I've never had a problem watching them. Plus I wanted to see how Tim Cahill went, and believe it or not, was hoping for an Everton win!

"who was your MOM?"

Malouda. He absolutely owned Hibbert in that first half.

Re:F.A. CUP FINAL Reply to this message
kingerik22,

I didn't say anything about the result and you missed the point.

...which is, that you can coach a team to be "the best of the rest" in the EPL or make the final of a domestic cup - a 3rd rate comp - or if you're lucky maybe even win the thing, by having them play predominantly long-ball rubbish, but it will never be good enough for the Champions League.

Good question (for mondays_expert, not for me...).

So, mondays_expert, if you have watched the game (and I assume that you do like english football enough to get up at 2 am your time to watch it) who was your MOM?

Re:F.A. CUP FINAL Reply to this message
lucky chelsea won .. wouldn't want them crying of a conspiracy after that goal that wasn't given.

considering the talent on the pitch and the supposed genius of Huddink ..... Chelsea should of thumped Everton .. a team of hard workers and coached by a talentless Brit who has no idea yet somehow got to a FA Cup final.... is that correct monday?

Re:F.A. CUP FINAL Reply to this message
"game was boring"

The game was as expected.

One team, under a Dutch coach, keeping possession, stringing a few passes together and trying to play proper football.

The other, under a Brit coach, knocking long, hopeful balls forward for the most part.

And that right there is why David Moyes will never coach a 'real' Champions League club.
