| uurrghh... Cardiff v Portsmouth.... I wonder if any neutral supporters will watch this game at all?? Yeah, I do know that the 'big four' had no one but themselves to blame although by resting their players and fielding weakened squads you wonder how valuable the FA Cup has become???? |

| No such problem in the case of Cardiff. Even though Cardiff is actually in Wales, they joind the Football League before the Welsh FA was founded. This also applies to Swansea and Wrexham. If Cardiff were to win the FA Cup, they would qualify as the representative of the FA in Europe. Maybe slightly complicated situation, but with a fairly certain outcome in the end... |
