Re:Harry Kewell On The Move Reply to this message
I agree that I would like to see harry in the premier league again.
When he is on song there is not many footballers I would rather watch as he is capable of magic.
But due to injuries sustained, he hasn't been onsong for a long time.
Surely now his best days are behind him at leeds. He has barely touched a ball since going to liverpool and as I am a supporter of liverpool was very happy to see him sign with them...
But I have barely seen him turn out or liverpool and am dissapointed to see him go.
But like dukes I am sure there is still a place for him in the premier league.
Would love however to see dukes sign for a big club as he has always been a very hard worker and deserves recognition.

Harry Kewell will be in the Premier league next season guaranteed!, however it won't be at Liverpool.

He will be at Newcastle United on a weekly wage of £30,000.

Re:Harry Kewell On The Move Reply to this message
I agree Mark. He was ruled out of today's clash because of yet another injury that he sustained in the Singapore match. His career now is all but finished. Is Galaxy looking for another international player? He can join the other "almost always" injured fellow!

Re:Harry Kewell On The Move Reply to this message
Liverpool has no choice.
Would you want to pay a player even if he is a star if he could not play.
Why waste money on a star who is always injured when you can pick up some good players for the money they pay harry and who will be allot less injured...
I am a huge fan of harry's but when you are always that injured then how could you renew his contract.
As I said, Liverpool have no choice

Re:Harry Kewell On The Move Reply to this message
um no... he rejected australia many times previously in favour to play for liverpool. liverpool released him early by choice, not because he forced them to. why would he want to stay in liverpool just to sit at home and watch the game when he can go play an extra 45 minutes for australia and get some match fitness and show other interested clubs he is fit and still has it in him.

the end

Re:Harry Kewell On The Move Reply to this message
Just goes to show not everything is about the greedy $$ for some. Whoever he signs with in the future Im sure they will have his full commitment. Hopefully he'll have better luck on the injury front.

Re:Harry Kewell On The Move Reply to this message
Its a shame to see someone paying out on any professional
sportsman. Why not say best of luck to the guy? He is a great role model for kids. Good on him for showing his commitment to the National Team maybe it was his childhood dream to play for his country. Good luck with your sporting dreams!!

Re:Harry Kewell On The Move Reply to this message
That would be Qld Roar. You must be living in a sheltered world. "Queenslanders not good sports people"??? Here are only a few Queenslanders that have achieved sporting greatness. Mathew Hayden for Cricket, Anna Meares Olympic cycling champion, Greg Norman Golf, Viki Wilson Netball World Champion...the list is very long. Australians are fantastic sports people and display great sportsmanship.
Rugby League is only one of our sports. As for Harry Kewell he has had a great career in professional football that only a small few get to and are lucky enough to achieve!! Being an Australian obviously is something that he is proud of.

Maybe Harry should go back to Leeds, since he left them when relegation loomed.Viduka will be transfered from Newcastle and will end up in sunny Spain

Kewell,Owen and Viduka all fit and under Kevin Keegan's guidance; that would blow any team away.

I'm not claiming any logic to this thought (nothing new there), but I think favourites are:

Man City
West Ham
Portsmouth

Re:Harry Kewell On The Move Reply to this message
mind you, he would have a good chance of getting regular Champions League football at Celtic. I get the feeling he'd prefer that to a mid-table/UEFA Cup club in a better league.

No way would he go to Celtic, he has a lot more ambition than that.
