| I am yet to see a decent explanation as to why a clear eye gouging spotted straight away by the touch judge is not a sending off offence. I would have had no complaint whatsoever if it were a Lions or an England player. I do not believe that there is ever cause for a player deliberately gouging to stay on the rugby field. 30 seconds in or 79 mins in. They have to go off. I'd agree about the two of them sitting back and watching guys like Richie and George, two of their southern hemisphere fellow rugby players who don't need to do that kind of thing and never have. |

| I find Burger very disappointing. This guy has the potential to be one of the greatest ever SA flankers, but has peppered his game with this sort of cr*p since I first saw him. He needs to sit down & watch Richie or George to see that you don't have to be dirty to be tough. Froggy |

| Hey, I'm happy. Providing the judiciary doesn't go soft on us, Bad Boys Burger & Botha should be cooling their heels for the 3N. I always want to see a contest with the best players available, but these two let themselves and their team down. I'm happy because they won't be around to take out someone's eyeball or shoulder charge to maim. |

| South Africans and French players in particular still haven't shaken off that nasty reputation of gouging and head stamping etc that they had sadly been guilty of far too many times. Good play by the touch judge and the referee for getting involved straight away and sending him off for 10 mins even though it was only 30 seconds old. South Africa are a good team but they really must remove that nasty element they have in their forward play. It removes a lot of praise when otherwise it is deserved. |

| Unfortunately i still haven't seen this game in full.I did see the first few minutes and saw Burgur do the gouge on someones eye's. SA players such as Burgur,Botha,Du plessie are going to have to tone down the bully boy tactics as it's all on camera these days |

| Lions could have won, Boks just pulled it out of the bag. Nailbiting for supporters from both sides. What a cracker of a game. Congratulations to the Lions on an excellant game. Lions have nothing to lose in the 3rd meet, Boks will have to pull up their socks if they want a series win. I think I am still palpatating and need a stiff one to calm the nerves.
