couldn't agree more Frog.
Add taking away attacking team advantage when they take quick tap 1 or 2 metres behind/across from Short Arm mark and ref pulls them back. |

| Catch 22 Froggy, these guys need to ref internationals to get the experience. The S14 showed the SH refs are lacking just as much. If they are not put out there in both hemispheres then they will never learn. |

I don't like constantly harping on refs, it's a tough job and everyone is an expert BUT
How long have we got to put up with international refs calling lineouts for not straight when the defending side doesn't contest, and ordering the ball back into a scrum when it's already at the lock's feet?? I know technically they are right, but we're there to watch the rugby, not an expose` on the finer points of the laws.
Not suggesting there was any bias, it happened to both sides last night, but the game doesn't need it.
