That team is hardly a world away from the other and could not be fielded last week. Smith and Kaino back from injury are the main changes with DeMalmanche coming onto the bench.
Smith is welcome back which puts Toeava on the bench
Kaino pushes Messam out alltogether. Kaino himself has had a very poor S14 so he has a lot of work to do to have an impact, at least they have put him in his best position. Read at eight is experimantal but he has played there this year for the red and blacks, probably gets the knod because he protects the ball better than Messam but does not have Messams broken play X factor.
Whitelock on the bench for injured Thompson a straight 7 for 7 replacement for Latimer.
Still a very inexperienced pack with a lot of work ahead of them, the backline is more balanced with Smith back in. Hope he hasn't been rushed back at the expense of his hamstring rehab.
C'mon Allblacks! |

gale, something like 10 players were out injured, so its nothing to do with blooding new talent. Especially after the All Blacks exodus of late.
Dont worry ill be crowing when we thrash you in the Tri Nations and Bledisloe :)

Lets focus on this weeks game and not me,although my lite hearted comments have created some little animosity between other bloggers this has certainly created some good debate and fair comments that have been somewhat a little inflicting, but in hind sight I do not complain I choose to regroup and get moving again.
Who knows maybe it will be I on the receiving end of the ab's next win against the FRENCH IF THEY WIN ??!!

Mel,
You're sounding like a little kid complaining to the teacher at play lunch time.
Bizarre's team won. Let him enjoy it. As we all know, it isn't very often that anyone gets over AB at Carisbrook - let alone the Frogs.
You should be focusing on this weekend. I'm sure that's what AB are doing.
One thing we can all be sure of: AB will turn up with a full tank if intensity this Saturday. |

so untrue I move on rather quickly remember I am also a passionate fan and proud supporter I don't cry literally like you guys do and then have a day of mourning like there's been a death or something, the big picture is it's a game and now that there's a bit of stick coming your way it appears you cannot handle it,my team has failed many times but hey I don't look for excuses and point the finger I back them and support them
Here's an update my attitude is very intact and positive and I never point the finger, role with the loses there might be more to come.
On a final note GO THE FRENCH |

BTW Bizarre,
I did not read any bleating by the ABs supporters on this thread. I thought they took the loss with disappointment but a good spirit. It seems that you have the axe to grind not us. I guess you have been on the loosing end of some bitter losses to the ABs in the past and can't get over it. You might want to check your attitude rather than point the finger at us.
Blessings to you anyway.

It is a disgrace if we play bad. The ABs played bad and the French did not. Simply put, the better team won on the day. It is not doom and gloom although I hate to loose. That is a great wake up call to the ABs. It shows them what happens when they don't bring their A game to the park. It will put a fire in their bellies for next weeks game. I think the French will pay a price next week for that win. However, they certainly have serious bragging rights for the year. It does seem when Richie McCaw is not there the ABs have a hard time playing their A game. That is a concerning flaw in the team that needs to be addressed.
Blessings

KOB,
How is it a 'b' team when it's the best available? Do you give us Aussies that excuse when we lose players to injury?
You guys are always crowing Bout how much depth of talent you have.
Your coach is a dud by not having blooded more talent sooner. Even though he is a wily old fox and may still be able to get a powerhouse team together by 3N time. |

ummm, no. I don't think it is. France have for a long time been NZ's "bogey team". They are the last team to beat us in an international "series" at home.
They beat us in our last encounter and have now backed it up with a great win over us at home.
I personally think it is fantastic for international rugby, and despite losing I still think it's great for NZ rugby as well. Everyone can go on about NZ's depth at the moment, but we actually have a wealth of very talented players, the only thing we don't have (mostly due to injury) is experienced players at test level.
With the game time these guys are getting at the moment that experience will come, then once OS players and injured players come back into the fold it should give us some good healthy competition. |

| Being beaten by Argentina at home is no disgrace, in fact being being beaten by Argentina "period" is no disgrace anymore, they're a good team. England was always going to struggle with the Lions tour on at the same time. |

The defense from the French the intercept that maclister couldn't chase down ,oh New Zealand it's time to call all the inventory back from Europe then just maybe, maybe there will some sort of turn around.
Imagine that game was the world cup final 2011 oh what an embarrassment.
There was a deep sense of panic and a feeling of what to do with the ball I know this is a new team but come on,to be chasing 17-3 by the way was that Frances B or C team
