| Well said Jimbo. In any other era, he would have had 50 plus Wallas caps. He just happened to arrive he same time Smith and Waugh turned up. I would have like to have seen him run around with a better side for a few years. I think then we would have seen an even better David Croft. If any playerbwants to model themselves on soemone. He wouldn't be a bad place to start. His work ethic is of the highest order and as tough as they come. It'll be a long time before the Reds find another 7 as good as him. |

| I can understand Crofty's frustration in staying with the Reds, he's a polished, hardworking elite player and playing in a losing side for all those years must have taken it's toll. If you're a guy like that you're obviously a perfectionist and incredibly competitive, there's only so many years you could play in a losing side.
