| The Tahs have weathered through as much as I've been against and rubbished them all year. They are the only green light for Aussie this year, I reckon they'll come thru. Actually I hope they come thru, can't believe I said that. |

Tahs v Stormers should give indication of Chiefs v Sharks.
They reckon that the week after playing at altitude hurst the most. I've never done it so wouldn't know.
Both thoise games should be extremely tough for the visitors.
Hoping Tahs can do it, but have picked Stormers, who remain the form team of the comp for mine. |

| If they win the next two games with bonus points it will be hard not to get into the semi's. That's what they have to do first and forget about other results because it shouldn't matter. |

Can someone please explain to me how the Chiefs need results to go their way for them to make the finals, I look over it over and over again yet it makes no sense to me. Unless everyone has completely written the Chiefs off against the Sharks who have been playing horribly lately.

Be very surpised if Canes get there.
Hoping the Tahs will make it, but thinking Saders, Stormers, Chiefs & Blues now, with Sharks still a real possibility. |

Have just redone my forecasts, taken for & against + bonus points for wins & losses of 7 or less and have to readjust - FOR THE WORSE!
MY FORECAST IS NOW... 3 KIWI TEAMS IN TOP 4! Shocking!!!
Crusaders 57 1
Stormers 44 2
Hurricanes 41 3
Blues 41 4
Sharks will be 3rd team to finish on 41, but inferior +/- will relegate them to heartbreaking 5th.
Chiefs 6th on 39 & Tahs 7th also on 39 with slightly worse +/-
Hope I'm wrong folks. |

Tell you what, it's a tough one! Agree that the Tahs might lose against the Stormers, but they are definitely capable of beating the Reds in Qld. Yes the Reds do lift for the interstate derby, but NSW are still the better team. If they show up, they'll win. Ewen and most of the forward pack know what they need to do to beat Qld, so they'll bring in that experience too.
So, I'm going to say:
Crusaders (win both)
Stormers (win both)
Tahs (win one)
Canes/Sharks (Canes lose to Blues, Sharks win both).
Hopefully the Canes will take 4th as they probably have the best chance beating the Saders in Christchurch. I don't mind which team wins the tournament, as all would be exciting apart from the Crusaders. |

The most wide-open comp yet. Wonder if ELV's have had a hand in this?
Worhtwhile starting a specific thread on the issue now. I'm sure it's anything but certain, but here are my picks: -
1. Saders - home semi. Should win both remaining games.
It's a lottery from here...
2. Stormers - home semi. Big chance of upsetting Tahs and are form team of comp at the mo - although we all know that counts for little.
3. Canes. Far from certain, but a big chance to win their 2 remaining games, at least one-of. They should finish level with or ahead of Sharks.
4. Sharks. Have remaining home games, one of which is Cheetahs. Their defence at home will kill off Chiefs.
5. Chiefs. Will just miss out.
6. Tahs. Will be disappointed with 2 losses. Reds build their whole season for derby v NSW, which is pretty tragic (the chip on their shoulders is too big to cast off), but it's what they do and do best.
The rest don't matter... |
