| Gale... You are right in your case that Poc"c k should not have been sin-binned. Did it make a significant impact? Not really. Hurricanes were playing like a better team right from the word go. Maybe just a bit of a lazy patch at the end but thats all. |

| Well why make it personal Z? Do you reckon it was a fair call to send of Poc#ck? Do you reckon that decision had a significant impact on the match? And do you think the ref was consistent? Anyhow, as we always agree in the end, the result can't be changed. It just would've been nice to see the match played out without a ref giving one side a ridiculous advantage. That's the last I'll say in the matter. |

| Zedds is right. The Force are where they deserve to be. To in-consistent in 2008 They were clearly out-muscled from the likes of Hore, Waldrom even Tialata had a good game which is nice to see. Conrad Smith often gets overlooked but he indeed is mister reliable with sufficent tackling and runs straight lines yet is always looking to squirm free or get an off load. Young lock, Thrush, for the Hurricanes had another great game. Very nice speed I thought with ball in hand and basically does his job. Thats been his season really and the AB selectors should be looking at him. |

| You and KOB need to get a room when your team loses, then you can both have a cuddle and blame the ref. The Force were hopeless, couldn't attack a paper bag. Gits useless display was also the refs fault and the pitiless forward pack that Hore demoslished with his first try and the massive possesion stakes in favour of the Canes was the refs fault. The Farce are exactly where they deserve to be on the table and that is just above the rabble. |

| IMO Mauger was one of the best no 12's. He could read the play and find the gaps. He did not have the speed of Nonu but he was good on defense and exploited the gaps like no other. Nonu will do well with good coaching and the right players around him. Ado, I think I would make a great commentator LOL Blessings Mel |

| Nonu just needs a little work on his temperament and ball security. I would be surprised if he didn't get another shot. What he really needs is someone outside him who can read his play well an support him on one of his numerous breaks. I am not sure Smith is the man, but maybe Anthony Tuitavake. I would like to see that combination of Nonu at 12 and Tui at 13. Ado, I am sure I can find some more intellectual funnies but knowing you Aussies I made sure to keep it simple. LOL |

| Zedds, Zedds, Zedds, we can do a bit better than that can't we? Back on the subject, how could Henry leave Nonu out of the side playing the way he is at the moment? And if he does pick him, I hope he's not wasted on the wing. He's shown how devastating he can be at 12 and he deserves a shot there. Interestingly I saw Mortlock interviewd about Mauger once and the Wallas rated him the most dangerous player in the AB's backline. Now Nonu may not read the play as well or know how to dictate a game tactically like AM, but if he's outside DC or Evan with thier abilty to set the angles of attack, Nonu could be even more devastating. Put a fail safe (as in a great readers of play and defensively strong) 13 outside him like Smith and I reckon you've got a pretty exciting combo. I think your also right Kiwi, I think we should all start getting our audition tapes into foxsports. We are far funnier and certainly deserves to get paid for watching something we all love. |

| I guess hes almost the opposite of Mauger, I never really saw him set alite the field with attacking rugby, a few breaks every now and then, but if your going to be in a position to defend and not much attack then why play sport? KOB |

| I'm not making him sound like anything, KOB. I'm merely telling everyone the sort of player he can be. I'm not denying that he breaks the line with ease 8-9/10, hes world class in that aspect in fact. But theres more to a number 12 than that. | It would be hard to leave Ma'a Nonu out although lets not forget.... For every good burst he makes, theres a mistake that follows. Defence hovers from poor to average (and no, one big hit suddenly doesn't make a GREAT defender. More to it isn't there?) not to mention eratic ball retention and ill discipline habbits that include high shots, getting involved in fights that don't concern them and other times starting them to begin with. Might be worth weighing up the pros and cons with him. |
