| Why would the AB's want an injury prone prik like him? They have enough work ahead of them just getting these guys going... |

Well, I've seen Brad Thorne represent Australia at league and NZ at rugby and SBW has got a sh/tload more ability than him.
And Rhino its actually quite trag that you laugh at your own jokes.
Also nothing wrong with Gus. Go the Chooks. |

McCaw is arguably the best forward in union, but even this is still a tough call - the best backrower, yes, but there are magnificent locks and props that are also incredible.
But I seriously couldn't imagine him having the same effect in league cos it's such a different game. Pilfering ball or forcing tunovers, for example, doesn't exist in league, and it's arguably the strongest part of McCaw's game. Likewise, Matfield, who is the best lock in world rugby, and his strengths don't translate into league - lineout jumping/calling/reading, scrummaging etc. You can't compare league to union. |

| Ha HA Yea, Gus Gould does get overtly enthusiatic about Williams does't he..... I dont know exacly were they would play him anyway.Center.. ?,maybe 13 but a lot to learn out there, too bulky for wing, maybe a 6,too small for 2nd row,.I wouldnt do it if i were them. |

| Mate if you think the dunny boy is the best of either code then I've never watched a game of footy. He's a flash in the pan player who only ever looks good when someone puts him in a gap. Sure, he can get a one handed pass away but that's about it. His defence is on par with any other player , nothing special and certainly not enough 1st man in tackles. If this dunny rooter goes to Rugby Union you are welcome to him, it will give us some respite from gaseous Gus Gould whom I'm sure has a sexual fascination with him. |

He'd have to prove himself in the code first. Esecially when like you guys say, theres other established options.
As far as the forwards go.....dont see him being in there. Backs or nothing I would think. He may be good at center or something but hes very injury prone and would need to quit the shoulder barging. |

| Sonny Bill is the best forward NZ has of either code. Don't agree that one would chuck him in the centres Jimmy. He would be the best 6 in world rugby if he switched. Hope for our sake he doesnt. |

boy he'd be dangerous in centres... One thing you guys don't need is any more loosies. You've got enough world-class back rowers, NZRU would be wasting their money if that's the way he went.
He would be a draw card, though, definitely. |

How do you think he'll go?
I dont think he has either the work rate of JC or Rodney in the rucks and mauls.
Probably a combination of Lauaki & Messam, agility and power combined - would be dangerous with ball in hand, but not so sure on the 'engine room' stuff. |

He is open offers? Has he had any? No.
Just because Eddie Jones the super coach suggested such a move doesn’t mean it will happen. |

| unlike the aru the nzru isn't in to poaching league players, he would have to come to nz and work hard at and earn his all black jersey just like brad thorn did. |

BULLDOGS star Sonny Bill Williams has admitted he would seriously contemplate switching to rugby union and chase dual international status if the All Blacks offered him enough money.
Williams' thoughts are sure to send shockwaves through Belmore after the club secured him on a bargain five-year deal last year worth around $400,000 a season.
The fact Williams agreed to less than his market value for a longer term deal could come back to haunt the Bulldogs if the New Zealand Rugby Union moves to poach the 22-year-old.
Just last month Williams said his belief in loyalty was diminished after Willie Mason walked out on the Bulldogs last November and in the future he would only sign deals that looked after him and his family.
I think he's coming to the Blues |
