Re:All Blacks Reply to this message
Well sadly not EVERYONE can be there and form players at this rate will infact have to miss out.

The way Tod Blackadder was talking though the team to go to Europe and the team to play in the Tri Nations could be totally different all together from eachother. So we'll see how it all goes.

Re:All Blacks Reply to this message
IF Henry keeps to his word it should be a very different team and full of Crusaders players?

Crusaders only have 5 form players in the super 14. Only Deans will pick a AB's side full of Crusaders.

Definite AB's:
Ali Williams
Richie McCaw
Andrew Ellis
Dan Carter (if fit)
Leon MacDonald

Didn't even consider the Crusaders front. Blues showed they are average.

Re:All Blacks Reply to this message
Thorns getting old in terms of Rugby age. Henry will be wanting to invest into a bright future for the All Blacks early by the time Rugby World World Cup 011' starts. A bright future probably means younger stars. As for Greg Somerville, hes made many try saving tackles this year and has shown good form. Like Australia, we have alot of young guys coming up though so it'll be interesting. Blindside Flank, Number 8, Half back, Center and Fullback will be interesting for me.

Henry has said he will be selecting on form and not reputation this year. IF Henry keeps to his word it should be a very different team and full of Crusaders players.

Re:All Blacks Reply to this message
I don't think Somerville has done enough this year.Newlands for me.Also,Muliaina has also been off the boil this year.To be totally honest the backs look great but the forwards don't look too intimidating really...what about Thorn. and Hore has been the form rack this year

Clint Newlands has been outstanding anchoring the scrum for the Highlanders, Newlands is big and strong as well as mobile across the park.
Kevin O'Neil has been in good form and is a genuine lineout ball winner, will also strenthen out lineout takes.
Tanerau Latimer has extreme skills in the breakdown and is good support play. He will definetly help McCaw in general play.

Stephen Brett un-lucky to miss out but needs to get his defensive game right first. Ideally, this is what our form team would probably look like. Although maybe not Eaton but at 33 we probably don't wanna use Brad Thorn in the starting 15....rather put him on the bench and get a younger Jason Eaton involved behind a good pack.
