| Yes interesting. On the one hand we have Deans who would not pick an out of form player, and the other hand we have O'Neill with his big ego getting involved. I guess we will just have to wait and see how this one plays out. My bet would be with Deans. He held all the cards when he went to the ARU. |

| Deans must have discussed this during the selection process. I understand the dilemma it poses for ARU, but surely his credibility with the rest of his team and other candidates for jumpers must depend on his being able to manage selection fairly. Mark L. |

| Thing is, Lote is practically assured a Wallaby place for the term of his contract, the Inside Rugby magazine last year pretty much admitted this. Anyone who wonders where the hell Aussie rugby is going wrong has only to look at Lote and his stupidly high contract and the fact Deans will have him whether he wants him or not. Tahu will be the same, Deans has probably already been told he must be selected regardless. |

| He has done alot of stupid things and hes not really what Robbie Deans will be looking for. I dunno how he puts it down to lack of qaulity ball when he GETS the ball and then he himself does stuff like kick it into open play when he could keep going and score himself a try. Besides, hes no better when hes in the Wallabies anyway and thats the best pack your going to get as far as Aussie rugby goes so yep. Time to drop him I think. |

| Lote (I'm ready to explode or I'm a caged lion ready to pounce) has blamed the lack of quality ball is behind his form slump. How do you explain your non existence in defence Lote? Maybe you could blame a lack of out of form players running at you. Lote is overrated, over paid and way past his use by date. It is time he was dropped from test and Super 14. |
