| I don't know but "IMO" Schifcofske's try was inconclusive. Joe Rokocokos pass was propelled forward by his tackler which ended in Flavells try.... The Force were unlucky to lose that game..... But it's just week one and theres more to come ... |

| Saders destroyed 'em. Only minor excuse they have is they were missing a few big names (i.e. Mortlock/Rathbone). Nice to see reds win, although it wasn't convincing. Force without Sharpe did pretty well. Unlucky on the siren. Not unhappy with the result in the scheme of things. Blues looked slick in last 20 mins after breaking Chiefs with Flavell try (which was the dodgiest of the round that I saw). Tahs looked pretty good when they had their way in attack - but bombed several certain chances which is poor execution. It was a good match. Rodney was below par. JC looked good as did Eaton. Tahs forwards were strong. Didn't see other 2 matches. Two things I noticed about the new rules: 1. It seems to be easier to disrupt opposition attack because in general play you are flatter. 2. More rugby league-style kicking keeping it in field because of 22 rule. Keeps the game flowing and competitive. Also great to see more speed in the breakdown and the game generally. |

| Good win by the Saders, the Broombies didn't get a look in. I was a bit confused with the new laws as it was the first time I have seen them in action. I felt it was all a bit disjointed at the begining but with the water on the paddpock I am sure this contributed. Well done Reds but can anyone tell my why they awarded Schifcofske's try when it was clearly held up in my one eyed opinion. To back up my narrow mindedness, the Aussie comentators agreed with me. He had a great game however and so did the winger. Force take a tumble, the Sharks smashed them up front. Looking forward to the remainder of the games. |

| It's like I've always said, the Blues biggest enemy is mental weakness. So many are tipping them over in NZ and I don't know why, there is talent to burn but they are tactiaclly suspect under Nucifora and when thing go wrong, they go to pieces. I hope I'm wrong but it's going to be yet another wasted 14 weeks for Blues supporters. |

| Tahs win 24-14 over Saders. Carter showed up Beale right from the start. Carter was taken off at halftime and Beale then started to shine. Confusing was why Tahu was left out on the wing for so long, shouldve been at outside centre. |
