| Time for some deep thought in Waikato. Dropping the last three on the trot, while in a position to advance to the semi-finals, and worse than that reverting to the early season form of haemoraging points against. Sure they have injuries. It's the end of the competition, and people get beaten up; same thing happens everywhere. I don't have a good solution to suggest. I'm not a big believer in firing the coach, and having lost Gatland it's not at all obvious who would come in. Maybe which ever (Pivak or Lam) doesn't get Auckland? Mitchell has done a very good job, imo, in WA, but I don't think they could get him back, at least not for some time yet. But there need to be some changes on the field, too, especially in terms of team defense and general consistency throuighout a season. Maybe a new coach can motivate that, or maybe a period of building is needed. Sigh... Mark L. |

| To be honest I dont think that Crusaders played badly, they made a few errors but we all know they should turn it around. Interestingly enough my 3 favourite matches this year involved the Crusaders, Chiefs v Crusaders, Blues v Crusaders and Highlanders v Crusaders. KOB |
