| Roosters had no right to win tonight. We were down on the scoreboard and the stats? We made more tackles, less hit ups, less off loads, more errors, less kicks in play, 6 less scrums, and the penalty count 9 - 2 against. Mason played well with a few great runs and a crashing try, Pearce had brilliant defence and a good kicking game, Anasta strong as usual and is having a stellar season, and the old fella fitzy just as solid as usual. Great win in the end scoring 3 tries to nil in the second half. |

| Well a few believed we could beat Manly, and we did convincly. Now in third spot, and still lokking good for a home final. We have only lost a handfull of games since Freddy came on board. Many said he would not make a difference and would be gone by the end of last year with a "real" coach in his place. Well? Go the Roosters! |

| All good again and back on track. Great game by Willie, and MOTM performance by Fitzy playing the entire 80 mins after Origin. Minni in blistering form, 2poos great running and off loads, and Auby boys just solid as usual. I am going to stop there as I could say something about every player. But best of all.....we won! Keeping at the right end of the field. Great game boys, keep it up. GO THE ROOSTERS!!!! |

| Anasta was the difference last night. With 4 top players out Anasta stood up and controlled play better than he has all year. The brilliant kicks to set up tries, 3 side steps to score, then a beautiful kick chase to grab it on the full and score, and set up another with a pass. He had a hand in nearly everything last night. And what he didn't Pearce did! If NSW lose then we know what combination should step in. I for one hope that NSW win from a purely selfish point of view. I don't want Anasta and Pearce to play, otherwise we will have 6 players out! Also Ogre played an awesome game last night and the go forward guys on the park without Willie there. He shone last night and I was happy to call him a Rooster last night. Well done boys.....and to Laurie Daley....suck eggs mate..having to hand man of the match honours to Anasta after not picking him. |

| How good are the boys going.....lets look at some numbers. 126 points scored this season.....2nd best in comp. (Only Broncos with more) 70 points against......3rd best in comp (Only Storm and Sea Eagles have less, and are below us on wins) Last year we were accused of not being able to score tries, and that we had shoddy defence. It seems that Freddy "the inspiration" Fitler has had a great influence on these guys, and we can see from some of the set plays just how influential he is being. |
