| Chris Anderson has this afternoon made some key changes to the team to take on the North Queensland Cowboys this Saturday Night at Dairy Farmers Stadium, kick off 8.30pm (Live on Fox Sports at 9.30pm Sydney Time). Braith Anasta has been moved from Lock to Five-Eighth and will be partnered by rookie Half Back Mitchell Pearce, who will be making his first grade debut. Anthony Tupou has been moved to Lock with Nate Myles coming off the bench into the Second Row. Mitchell Aubusson has been moved to the bench and Vince Mellars will travel with the team as the 18th man WOW!! Didnt see any of that coming!! |

| Just an update for Roosters fans on our ex-Moz "Morley hit by fresh injury blow" Warrington forward Adrian Morley faces six weeks on the sidelines after suffering his second facial fracture of the new Super League season. The 29-year-old sustained a displaced fracture of the cheekbone against Hull KR on Sunday and will undergo an operation later this week. The incident occurred just 17 minutes into his comeback following surgery on a fractured eye socket. "I am absolutely devastated," he told the Manchester Evening News. "This is a different part of my face but it's another freak accident." Man....bad luck for Moz he had surgery on his busted eye-socket only 1 month ago. |

| Actually i went out last night and celebrated very hard with some Souths mates. Both our teams have started their 100th season, and that was cause for celebration. Especially after what Souths have been through. I bought my mates beers all night, and didn't begrudge them 1 drink. The emptiest thing about me is my wallet pete. My mates haven't much to chear about over the last 4-5 yrs so i can only be ecstatic for them. And it is only the 1st round, i am still looking forward to the rest of the season. 1 game does not maketh the season. Congrats Bunnies, no excuses here. There were several reasons though, and they will adjusted over the coming weeks. For me it was still exciting to see my team play again. GO THE ROOSTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Today (tonight actually) the Roosters will be the first ever team to notch up 1000 victories. I wish that it didn't have to be against the Bunnies. Both teams are celebrating their 100 yrs in the comp, and it would be good if it didn't have to come against a team celebrating the same milestone. Good luck bunnies, but not too much luck.
