It is easy to sit here and pick apart any teams list. The reality is the tigers made some bad decisions in the past. Hence the arrival of Plough and atleast 5 years of stablity and Professionalism. There is no point arguing with our knockers, and we have plenty, because the proof is there. 0-4 start in 2007 and little success in the past 20 years. However I truely beleive the list is ok, we just lack some real class all over the ground, but some of our recent draft choices, yet to be sited are developing and the future looks alright.Hughes kicked 6 last week and jackson is pushing for slection as is Nicholls. Tiva and Pettifer although not real hard men would be in most top 22 player lists regardless of uneducated external opinions.

I believe Terry Wallace is the right man for the job, his problems this season have been highlighted by injuries to key players especially the talls but many on the list are really struggling for form. The most disturbing thing in my mind is that we've been beaten by The Blues, Magpies, Swans and Western Bulldogs they've all won two games and in all cases one of those games was against the Tigers, so it makes Richmonds position grim for the remainder of the season even at this early stage. When you take a look at the Tigers list where have all the previous 3-4 seasons draft picks gone. Names like Jackson, Meyer, Hughes, Oakley-Nichols etc, and even when they play for Coburg in the VFL they hardly set the world on fire.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, the poor list Richmond are working with is not a reflection on Plough's coaching. He's a decent coach, but he hasn't got the manpower to will games. I doubt Richmond's recent years' draft picks are as good as Hawthorn's or Carlton's.

Richmond are stuck with mediocre players due to poor drafting prior to hiring Plough. Pettifer and Tivendale are the chief culprits - very mediocre players. Gaspar is a dinosar, as is Richo, and if Brown can't get his knee right, make space in the cupboard for a couple of spoons, Tigers fans!!!

I read you comments with interest. Pettifer only put in when someone bounced into him after the ball went out of bounds. He is a sook. Tuck - too slow at 21 (or something like that). Another great effort at mediocrity Richmond. Lets have one long term plan not three. Plan 1: Play the kids. Plan 2 - Try and win games with gaspar et al. Plan 3. Mix the previous 2 and achieve nothing. Good on you Richmond you have achieved nothing. I am going bushwalking.

i agree with both your comments,,,our team has not played together for a while.we have had injuries and the team hasnt blended well, that usually takes a few weeks.yes simmo lacked match fitness hence why he faded last week, hope hes better this week,as street from the dogs is out and last year he killed us...we now have 2nite 2 teams that need a win,i like the dogs, but love my tiges...i will be there supporting my team again win or lose(please oh please god give us the 4 points)lets just hope its a high scoring affair by both sides and the umpires put the whistles away......go tigers!!!!!

I have to say i dont agree. Having watched Richo closely over the years he continually gives away free kicks when thrown into the ruck.Plus I dont think we could have afforded the luxury of not having him inside 50 to attract the best defender at worst.lets not forget that memorable win against the Crows that i think we owe to a brilliant coaching strategey. Although not exciting for the general public, it was awesome to watch as a Tigers supporter.I truely believe he is doing te best with what we have. No Simmonds(still lacks match fitness), no Brown,no Coghlan, no Hall, no Kingsley, no Knobel makes it extremely difficuilt when your rebuilding and are forced to replace these key players with kids. i think people are expecting to much from him.

Look tough one this..... I have watched all the tigers games on TV this season, and yes Wallace has got the best out of most players at a young age....Problem is when watching them play it is so easy to predict what Wallace will do next if things are not going to plan, i believe it certain circumstances Wallace needs to take risks....eg, the first 2 RDs we got smashed in the ruck area, NOW if iwas coach i would have put our only big man there in stints, as he is fast, strong and very fit for a big man, and he does not have to worry about the goals....It would have been worth a go just to see what would of happend..The result would not have been any worse, but it could have been better...... By the way the player in question is............. RICHO

I think you have to put things in perspective. We have a very young team that will take time to find their feet in the game. Also being so young they will always give you inconsistency until they mature. terry has been able to get the best out of some our players whose carers were on the line. Pettifer, Tuck, just to name a few.Not to mention the obvious improvements on and off the field.Do some research buddy.

Wallace may be media savvy, but does he get outcoached on match day? He gives too much trust to players who are struggling to beat opponents, fails to make the change and then coducts media interviews post match that let him and the team off the hook. We need four quarter performances. You dont win matches with a 10 minute flurry of effort.
