jemms_dad I totally agree with you that Knights was an ideal choice but unfortunately Danny Frawley was half way through his coaching stint with the Tigers and he was very uncomfortable with Knights being around the place nearing his retirement. Its very similar at the moment with Wallace feeling the heat since Sheedy became a free agent. In his last game Knights had 21 possesions against the Bombers at their peak and his leadership skills got the Tigers to a 1 point loss at the finish. He got his marching orders after round 17 and many Tiger supporters are still filthy on Frawley the way he treated Knights who deserved far better treatment than what was afforded to him, no AFL player gave anymore to their club than Knights gave the Tigers, he was like a little general and Im sure he will be Essendons gain and Richmonds loss.

yes lets hope they all improve this year me as a supporter i dont care if we finnish last place but id like to see more passion into the game ..id be just happy seeing the players playing there best ...ghuess it comes down to as if they are themselfs did i play my best and can they answer it ..then we will get some good games ..i do beleive we do have the talent to be the best team on the feild at the end of the day..but they have to play there best to do this ..i see in some message boards people saying we dont have a big enough back line...KING might be a little player he would be the one out there with the biggest heart and that goes for any team ...big heart can make a 5 foot tall man seem 7 foot tall..replacement for wallace huh well there a good question people could answer ..i said mathew nights and that was when knights 1st retired i said he would make a good coach but there is lots others who could do a good job one would be dale lewis used to play for the swans ..he has a very good football brain even lambert ...so many to pic from ...we could sit and go all night with dif names

Footscray players have had far to much to say over the years and lacked discipline. Wallace was honest and resigned even Malthouse met the Bulldog players displeasure with his much publicised fall out with Brad Hardie. Dont forget Paul Hudson cost Wallace the chance to coach in a grand final, Hudson selfishly had a shot for goal in the dieing stages of the prelim final rather than hanball a few metres to Chris Grant who was dead in front unattended, the Dogs lost by 2 points. Believe me the Bulldogs wouldve really pushed the Crows in that grand final, instead the Saints capitulated and handed the flag to the Crows on a platter. Whether Wallace is a good coach or not we really don't know. He took over a very depleted Tiger list and I know its frustrating but the Tigers plan takes time but if theres not a marked improvement by the end of the 2008 season then players and Wallaces head should roll but keep in mind its easy to criticise but try suggesting a worthy replacement, people who can coach at AFL level are are very rare hence the large turnover. Already its apparent when the Tigers front up to a side with two big ruckmen they're behind the eight ball before the game has even started. I know from an overseas friend who's close to Wallace and he has already stated that Terrys really feeling the heat especially with the demise of Sheedy at Windy Hill with the coach and players on notice at Tigerland let's hope its beneficial to the long term success of the Richmond Football Club.

well last year was no dif in nab cup to there home and away season..lets just hope its not the same this year ...ill always say was a big mistake taking wallace on as top man ..as he never proved anything at footscray ..only good thing he has done was got brown to follow him ....and then you have to ask question as to why most the top players from footscray wanted him out of there

lets face it dont the club realize Terry Wallace is not doing the job...he never did much good at footscray and he was there 6 and half years oh boy how long do we have to wait huh ..watching them play in the nab cub i was so disapointed seeing players give up...see -players run for a player and just stop ...we been seeing this brand of football from these guys for far to long and a lot of us supporters are getting fed up..time to wake them up and start with the coaches
