| correctomundo, it was another thread that said to move raiders to central coast, much sorryness. The only reason there is a push for another qld team is because the afl are really pushing for a melb team to invade the gold coast. As far as depleteing stocks that the broncs get to choose from, they would only look across the tasman and recruit more kiwi`s and islanders to bulk up their team thereby reducing the spaces available for talented aussie kids coming through the ranks. This reduction in aussie kids long term depletes the players available for kangaroo selection, as a result down the track we wont be the best in the world in rugby league. (this will bring out the rabbits) |

| NO I have NEVER said move Raiders....the only time they win is at home. Imagine moving them to a warm climate.....they would perish. Infact I was dubious about moving any team to the Goldy, based on the previous transient nature of the area. I had hoped it had changed and they would get support and thankfully they have. It is a good move for the game. | We only got the friday night game because we were playing the eagles. If we were playing the warriors we would have probably got to play tuesday morning at 6am. put it down to channel 9 ratings, its got nothing to do with the nrl. You can nearly always pick the friday nights game just by looking at the draw. Take this coming friday nights game, first up dragons v bloody broncs, second game is interesting though warriors v bunnies. The comment re carney is spot on, remember it has been suggested that he only re-signed on the basis thathenry was staying, now that henry has gone it could be only a matter of time, contracts dont mean a thing these days. |

| Raiders had a shocker.....heart breaking, but i will say Todd Carney is still showing his brilliance, and i fear if the raiders dont step up to his level, then i wouldn't blame him for leaving for a premiership team. | True statsy, raiders should have won that game with manly 1 man down. I read in today`s rag that canberra had 2 players running around with concussion, now if you have ever played ball with concussion you will know that it feels like a blur , that would slow you down. no excuses though we should have won, but it makes you wonder how they were concussed in the first place, perhaps a well placed forearm to the head might explain, manly are renowned for it. It`s refreshing to read your post with most of the expletives removed, keep it up, it makes good reading with them gone. |

| Actually whale boy *** //k tool, I live in Brisbane in the south east side. And I don't barrack for Manly at all. All I have said is that Canberra should have won that game....is that not true? They couldn't take advantage of a side with a man down for 50 mins! To me that isn't good enough, and at home too. They need to step up much more than that or they will finish second last, and as I said.....they will be thankfull that Souths are in the comp. I am not trying to be smart or funny when I say that....it's simply true. | Here's hoping that was Canberra's worst game. Now they will start to play great football and string together a few wins. Manly weren't that good on Friday night. Canberra were woeful. |

Your logic is so flawed, but I guess when fools like you open their pie holes before engaging pea sized brain you will constantly say stupid things. Two weeks ago the Gold Coast must have been the best team in the comp right? Then last week the Roosters were the best team in the comp, and now the Storm have hit the lead so obviously they are now the best team in the comp! Grow up fu/c//k tards! |

| I still believe they are the second worst team in the comp. So going into this round I could have said Roosters are the best team in the comp and no-one could have argued because I could say look at the ladder? Raiders have had two byes so far which is one more than all but one team below them. Below them are Eels, Dogs, Warriors, Dragons, Cowboys and Souths. Souths is the worst team in the league, however I think that the others are better teams than the raiders and we will see at the end of season that the others have lifted. |
