(pardon the pun) together with the forearm across the throat. Every time we get rid of one incident the city teams come up with another. e.g. The grapple tackle and the chicken wing. The other reason I raised weyman`s name was to try and understand why the dragons would want, in my opinion, a player who has spent a good time with the raiders out injured and would possibly fall into the catergory of asecond string player. I can only surmise that bennet has ideas of educating him to be a better grub. |

Weyman is a grub, it was a king hit. the face rubbing stuff happens every single tackle. spastic, in my dictionary, is similar to idiot. i've never used spastic to describe a particular kind of person; its a person by person insult. |

| If there is one word in the english language that i cant stand , it is spastic, used generally by low life uneducated pizzles. When I refer to salary caps I understand all clubs are under the same ruling and even the uneducated would know it is too small,. Rugby clubs in france operate with a cap of something like 19m. canberra is cold and boring thats why I relocated elsewhere. statsy, what can I say, educated in canberra for 5 mths, what, was the curriculum too hard for you, or you couldn`t get a job at maccas.? |

| sattay, you say the team is rubbish, now why do you think that is? Whenever the raiders get some good kide together and start to meld them together, they are poached by the bigger city clubs with inducements of more money etc. Raiders have been in breach of salary caps trying to get players to stay with them, and been caught , so have some of the city clubs. With limited funds, you can only buy one or two good players and have to mould the rest. check out how many senior (and good) players in the city teams that started with the raiders and have been poached away. its even harder when the coach says on national radio, that he has no intention of leaving and then not two days later says that he is -ucking off to another club, they should have pissed him off straight away, then we might have settled down. I do watch the games and its disappointing to here all the rubbish that is heaped on the team by so called expert commentators like gus the goose an even passed players like daley etall So you have fun peeling your taters tonight and dont forget to recycle the peelings. |

| jonah...you are a tool! I didn't come in to hang sh!!t on this team. I read the thread and couldn't believe what I read. I do watch the games....but wont be watching Raiders v Bunnies as I am sure i need to shave or peel some potatoes or something equally as rivoting. You need to wake up and watch the games......the team is rubbish! And to say they need a pat on the back is pathetic paroquialism. When they win some games pat them on the back. |

The Raiders play the game pretty fairly without all the thuggery of sydney teams, you hardly ever see the forearms to the throat, or tackles that are put on just to cause injury. I know its a man`s game played by men, but some players are just thugs. What does Bennett see in weyman? |

| Ripped off, by umpires? never. Saw some beautiful forward passes towards the end of game that should have been pulled up by touchies. For all the good they do, they should be down the cafe drinking tea. that gave the storm the edge. The raiders are the unwanted team of the league, right from the start, sydney have never wanted us there and when we won a couple of flags that was unheard of. Just look at friday night football, tell me the last time the raiders featured on friday night. As for that fat cat and his cronies, give me the mickey mouse club any day. |

| Good point jonahj, its up to the genuine supporters to get behind Canberra. The sydney press treat them like crud, the sydney media, fatty and his smutty little mates - ditto. The canberra boys try their guts out. Theyre underrated and un-respected. They deserve a damn big pat on the back. If the "top" teams of big names had half the guts of the raiders boys, they be unbeatable.
